Amphetamines Addiction

Amphetamines are stimulant drugs that speed up messages travelling between the brain and body. Some amphetamines are legal and used to treat ADHD or narcolepsy, but even the legal version can be abused. Additionally, methamphetamines can be manufactured and are often sold as ‘glass’ or ‘ice’ that can be smokes, swallowed, injected, or inhaled. The effects of amphetamines can last for several hours and leaves the person feeling hyper, having an improved mood, and with increased alertness and endurance. Amphetamine addiction can be dangerous and will require specialized care.
